My name is Brandy and I am a very cute, petite red girl about 2 years old or so, with natural ears and a docked tail. I like to run and play with other dogs, so I hope my new forever home will have a big fenced yard and another dog to play with me! (I do prefer a feline-free home please!). I also get along great with young children! My foster folks say I am a very smart and well behaved girl. Please call or e-mail my foster mom to make arrangements to come and meet with me! My foster home is in the Gainesville area. Contact Beverly at 352.472.3936 or jab915@bellsouth.net

Look how beautiful I am!!!

Fred is about 2 yrs old, red/rust male with natural ears and docked tail. He is not a real big boy but makes up with heart. He is a very loving boy, and just likes to curl up with you and watch TV or a good football game.
He is a good boy that is crate trained or will just hang out where you put him. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, male or female. He would make someone a really good boy, and your best friend. Fred is fostered in the Jax area. For more info on Fred e-mail Jane at jbteccad@aol.com

Hennessey is a beautiful dark red /rust male, 1.5 yrs. old, natural ears and docked tail He is a good boy that likes other dogs, and is all about being at your side, and just wanting to know he will always have a meal ready for him.
He is a young dog so will need to continue his obedience training. He loves to play, and would like someone young enough to give him something to do and someone to have fun with. Located in the Jax area. E-mail Jane at jbteccad@aol.com

Direct Placements Female Dogs

Dobermans listed below are placed directly to the public by shelters. Florida Doberman Rescue charges no fee for these dogs. We also have no personal knowledge of the temperament, health or training of these animals. We rely soley on the descriptions given by the owners. Please contact the shelter directly. FDR, Inc. assumes no liability regarding these dogs and recommend you screen the dog carefully.

Abbi is approximately 1 year old and weighs 50 lbs. She is a mixed breed, but seems to have a lot of dobie in her (and maybe some rottie, too!). She was confiscated from her previous owners, who left Abbi and her puppies behind when they were evicted from their home. Abbi's foster mom rescued her from Miami Dade Animal Services on the day she was scheduled to be euthanized. Abbi was heartworm positive, but has been treated and is now ready for her forever home. Abbi is good with other dogs, but cannot be placed in a home with cats. She is a very sweet girl who loves people (and kids), but potential adopters should remember that this is a young, strong and energetic dog. Abbi is crate trained, house trained and knows basic obedience commands. She absolutely loves to go swimming, so if you're looking for swimming partner, Abbi could be the girl for you! Potential adopters should contact Abbi's foster mom, Cheryl, for more information: tampaattorney@yahoo.com

Madison is a beautiful young adult. She is still very much a puppy at heart. She will require a generous amount of daily exercise and a fenced in yard. She is vaccinated to age, spayed, vet examined, heartworm tested and current on flea/heartworm prevention.
We are hoping to hear something soon. We can not continue to board her. Madison is located in the Savannah area. E-mail Baileyamaral@aol.com for more info.

Fossy - approximately 2 years old, petite in size (35lbs) hound, SWEET as pie, great with all dogs, not a mean bone in her body, her severly broken back leg is now 100%, current on vaccines, and spayed. She is great in the car, house and yard. Never crated with me and never had one issue with her. Would definately love to have a brother or sister k9. Loves people and probably would enjoy kids that could run and toss squeaky toys for her. Her only flaw is fear of storms and that has improved much over our time. She LOVES to run at the dog park - through the woods, trails and ponds/pool. Definately treat motivated so training would be easy. Of course being a "hound" she can let her nose take her off and running so she must be on leash outside her fence. Please help me find her a forever home. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, quiet, happy, and so deserving of love! Located in the Jax area, rescued from Clay County Animal Control. E-mail Jeanne at justdogsnokids@yahoo.com
